My mother throws stuff out for no good reason?

Ok so i know she is a neat freak and all but today she threw away a signed poster from one of my favorite authors of all time because it had one small tare in the lower right corner that i have never noticed before! Her excuse was that it looked like trash. does she have some kind of problem?
