When can CPS drop/change charges?UK?
Can the Crown Prosecution Service change or drop a charge any any time? For example I know someone charged with rape, who is going to have a Plea hearing soon, where he submits his plea,but new information has come to light that his victim actually consented to the incident. Therefore it cant be rape. Can CPS drop/change this charge at any time?
