Can medical assistant call cps?

i took my 4 month old to his monthly check up with concerns and questions about him having trouble with his formula, he immediatly throws it up, the med assistant checks my sons weight and apperars to be below percntage, leaves the room discusses it with coworkers...calls the local er and has a bed ready for him, dont forget my sons pediatrition hasnt seen him yet. i take him to er so theyy can moniter his food intake, then cps comes in insisting im not feeding him, run all these test everything is fine, still gave a medication and insisted he takes, finally sons doctor shows up and changes his formula and says hes fine....no i have a cps case open trying to say im not feeding my son, is this crazy or what? do i have rights?
