Is this considered abuse? And if it is should I call CPS?

My mom when she gets mad at me she yanks at my hair an shakes me violently by the hair. And she grabbs at my wrist and leaves hand marks. And she also grabs me by the chin and pulls me towards her and slaps me across the face. Is that abuse? I know my mom used to get a wore and she used to hit my older sister across the face with it. I've alays been afraid to call CPS but I know that if CPS is called that I have my real father to live with but I'm also scared that if I'm framed to be a liar that it will only get worse and worse. My mom acts as if she would never hit me or my brother but she does. They r short tempered and hurt me easily. I guess bc I'm a teenage girl and emotional I'm taking it wrong but idk I'm scared and confused and want opinions please
