How long does cps keep cases on file?

I had a case against me because my daughter had a dream that my boyfriend had sex with her and I didn't make him leave. IT WAS ONLY A DREAM, TRUST ME, HE'D BE DEAD! That was four years ago and we want to get married. Will the state take my kids again or does the file delete after so many years?
